To spite their extensive length, each edition of the Future World Soundtrack Series is rarely all incompassing. As in film, longer does not necessarily equal better and a protracted experience can often destroy the tempo and pacing of even the most interesting composition. Epcot’s musical landscape is much more than a collection of dynamic high-energy attraction soundtracks. There is something to be said for the more sedate soundscapes of Future World’s unique pavilions, queues, shops and restaurants. These kinds of experiences often enhance and define the “Park” element of Theme Parks.
From the avant-garde overtures of Entrance Plaza, to the electronically-driven chords of Innoventions and all points inbetween, the Future World Atmospheres Series takes its cue from the many soundscapes the permeate the park with newly re-mastered/restored recordings repackaged for professional playback.
