SENSORY FUNHOUSE
1. GOLDEN DOME
65 ft high and 250ft in diameter the geodesic dome that encapsulates the entire pavilion resembles a molecular structure
with its rungs and circular intersections. Expressing both the immensity of the subject and the intimacy of its application, this medley of themes acts as both the overture to the more mature aspects of living and the entr'acte of our tribute to Future World’s ninth pavilion.
2. AUDIO ANTICS
Things are not always what they appear to be but sounds can be equally deceiving as we see hear with audio antics.
Listen closely for the differences between what you think you hear and what actually exists.
3. PURE & SIMPLE
Relax and enjoy “guilt-free” goodies while overlooking the futuristic fairgrounds below. Taken from Wonders’ café,
Pure & Simple captures the more tranquil aspects of Life with contemplatively melodic themes and low tempo songs
that exemplify the fact that healthy living cannot be complete without moments of reflection.
FRONTIERS OF MEDICINE
4. VIDEO VOYAGES SUITE
Perhaps the most serious and cerebral of Life’s exhibits, Frontiers of Medicine features in depth coverage into the latest
discoveries in biological research. With kiosks covering topics from body imaging to the immune system and from
surgery to genetics, Frontiers of Medicine provides thought provoking information for today’s modern medical
miracles. Inspired by the underscores of the exhibit this medley of themes is meant to evoke the technological
breakthroughs of the last decade of the 20th century.
BODY WARS
5. M.E.T. LOBBY
Soft forms, low lighting and dynamic backlit photos of inner space welcome us to Miniaturized Exploration Technologies were we pass through “Dermatopic Purification” screens to prepare us for the ingenious process of particle reduction that lies ahead.
6. LGS-250 BOARDING AREA
Get ready to board one of the METs Body Probe shuttles to take an informative journey inside the human body with boarding procedures and a final check-in with Dr. Cynthia Lair before entering our LGS-250 Shuttle.
7. BODY PROBE – BRAVO 229
Joining Captain Braddock, we head to the particle reducer and then into the human body where we rendezvous with Dr. Lair and subsequently rescue her in a thrilling trip through the heart, lungs, and brain.
8. M.E.T. EXIT TERMINAL
After taking the incredible journey within, we leave the MET with a lush musical accompaniment of full orchestral themes that provide an uplifting finale to the Body Wars experience.
9. FWSS – MAIN THEME
Starting from the digital frontier of TRON then expanding into the entire Universe of Energy, the Future World
Soundtrack Series theme encompasses some of the most iconic and impactful themes in the history of the park.
10. PASSING WONDERS
Symbolizing the slow passage of time from its closure and subsequent metamorphosis from the thriving Future World pavilion to a seasonal festival center, Passing Wonders’ slow and unraveling rhythm suggests the vanishing theme and open-ended future that awaits the largest of all Walt Disney World’s vacant structures.
