PROGRESS CITY CHRISTMAS

Created as cover art for the release of the high-concept Christmas in Progress City compilation of mid-century modern holiday music, this speculative look at Walt’s original vision of E.P.C.O.T. in Winter is based on a painting by Legendary Imagineers Herb Ryman with enhancement by Collin Campbell.

Designer’s Note:
Although it would be very easy to depict the city with impossibly large decorations, I strived for realism with MCM tinsel-like trees and building lights that could have been practically installed by the city’s civil servants.
